Simply Rosie Designs is a graphic design studio specializing in wedding & event stationery and creative business branding. Simply Rosie Designs loves bringing your stationery vision to life from start to finish. Rosie offers brides custom invitations, as well as save the dates, rehearsal invitations, programs, menus, signage, escort cards, favors and thank you cards. You name, she does it!
What is the inspiration for your business? How did you get started?
After I designed my first wedding invitation suite for my SIL in 2015, I immediately fell in love with the whole process. After that I started doing more wedding and event stationery for friends and friends of friends and realized I really had a passion for it. When I meet with my brides, I collect a lot of information from them like how their backstory, where they live, venue location, theme, color palette, etc. and draw inspiration from that to create something custom and unique to them.
What is your best advice for a bride-to-be?
Although I am a very detail-oriented person and it was hard to do this as a bride myself, my best advice for a bride-to-be is to not stress about every little single detail. Let your vendors help you out with a lot of the small details. That is what we are here for!
Rosie of Simply Rosie Designs favorite part of the wedding day is seeing the brides vision come together. She has had the opportunity to attend a lot of the wedding she has done stationery for and loves seeing all the couple’s hard work for their vision come to life on the wedding day.
Rosie has some big goals for later this year and next year. She originally started at RMD Design Co. but is in the process of a rebrand to Simply Rosie Designs. While she does that, she is also relaunching her website, and an etsy shop. She is working on up leveling all her services and offering some new ones as well. Her ultimate focus is best serving her clients.
What keeps you motivated to face the challenges small business owners face?
Whenever I face challenges in business, I always reflect on the fact that I love the work I am doing and enjoy working long hours. Also having a supportive community of like-minded creatives is motivating – we are all in this together!
What characteristics does your ideal client carry?
My ideal client is detail-oriented, creative and not scared to think outside the box. I like challenges and creating unique items, so if a bride has an idea in mind, I love helping bring it to life!
Excluding yours, what company or business do you admire the most? And why?
I recently stumbled across Taylor Bradford’s Boss Girl Creative podcast and can’t get enough of her! She is a no BS, straight to the point educator and her passion of helping other creative women to be successful is inspiring!
