O’Neil Events is a wedding planning business in the DC area. Colleen of O’Neil Events got started wedding planning organically. Colleen was once working in marketing and part of her job was to manage and attend events for the company. She realized it came naturally to her. Because of this Colleen of O’Neil Events took a chance and started her own event planning company. Colleen used her business background and grew it to be an event planning company that specialized in wedding planning.
What is your best advice for a bride-to-be?
“Rank what is most important to you and then work your way down that list, be willing to compromise on items at the bottom of that list.”
Colleen, of O’Neil Events favorite part of the wedding day is seeing the groom as the bride walks down the aisle. Her goal for 2020 is to continue to impact the wedding industry and what keeps her motived to do so is keeping her eye on the big picture and being willing to pivot as new opportunities present themselves.
What is your greatest fear, and how do you manage fear?
“I manage fear by being blindly optimistic. I can’t over analyze too much, I need to make sure work toward the best outcome.”
