I hosted my first styled workshop for fellow photographers. I will admit I was pretty nervous at times, but it went so well! I loved how everything came together.
A styled session takes a lot of planning and I was so blessed to plan with an awesome team of creatives. I’ve known Kelly of Petals by the Shore for almost a year now, and in that time I’ve had the chance to watch her create beautiful arrangements for weddings, events and styled shoots. I can trust that whatever she makes will be easy and fun to photograph. This styled session also led me to meeting Nicole Nespor of Velvet Grown Gift Co. This was our first project together and I am so excited for her business to take off. Her gift baskets are unique, while also being personal.
I’ve posted each of the model’s galleries individually, but you will see that each couple was stunningly gorgeous and so easy to photograph. I couldn’t have found better models for this session, and I am so thankful for their flexibility and willingness to participate. And of course, I need to give a shout out to my amazing intern, Monica, who was my moral support throughout the day. She helped in every way possible and took so much stress off of me during the session. She is by far a godsend!

Nicole Nespor made this gorgeous cake for the styled workshop, and I seriously fell in love! It was more than I could have asked for.
Nicole also makes these gift baskets, and I absolutely love them. She can complete customize them to fit whatever type of gift, whether it’s a bridal shower gift, birthday basket, welcome gift or just a friend hello to a friend, she will rock it!
