Kaliph and Sarah
We met at Cathedral park in Portland, Oregon for our photo session. Kaliph and Sarah are absolutely adorable, their relationship is sweet and intimate. I am so happy they found each other. We decided to meet at sunset that way the sun would behind us with the pretty view as the backdrop. The weather wasn’t too warm or too cold, it was just right for an evening stroll through the park. We wandered around the park a bit while we chatted and snapped photos. Half the time, I didn’t even need to give them direction because when I’d look their way, they were already snuggling each other in some cute way! It worked so perfectly. The way they embrace one another reminds me of being wrapped in the security and projection of someone you love – just the way it should be!
They’ve been dating for about a year, and they’ve hit it off! Watching them interact during the session was so fun, Kaliph is smitten with Sarah! The way treats her like royalty is adorable.
When we were wrapping things up, Kaliph asked if I could do a few pictures of them laying down, he wanted to show off Sarah’s eyes.
As we parted ways once we wrapped up the Session, Kaliph took Sarah by the hand and they walked to their car. Even this simple act they made look romantic and beautiful.
For the editing of these, nearly everyone I did in color and black and white. I love pops of color, but the black and white enhances the romantic vibes I was getting. It takes away any distraction and draws you straight to their love.
